Welcome to Tehilla House, House of Prayer
Tehilla House came into being following a prophetic word given to Honor in 2007 at a weekend Prayer School in Canterbury, Kent. The prophet said “What You are going to raise up is more than a prayer tower. It is going to be a Training Base”. We opened in October 2008 in the Isle of Thanet, in the East of Kent (which includes the towns of Ramsgate, Margate and Broadstairs, plus villages and hamlets). We consist of Tehilla House, House of Prayer that is an intercessory prayer group that meets weekly.

We run a weekly teaching course, varying from 4 weeks to 18 weeks, depending on the subject, at Tehilla House, Prayer Training Base, that is open to anyone.

Honor Todd
Our Founder
Honor is married to Tim and has 2 daughters and 2 grandsons. She has lived in the Isle of Thanet since she was nine years old. Honor is a Bible teacher, who has pioneered and founded the Prayer House and the Prayer Training Base. She has organised Church unity meetings in Thanet, and runs the Thanet PrayerNet which has initiated teaching days and prayer events, and a local prayer diary for Thanet. She has organised many prayer walks around Thanet, including one in 2018 when people from across the nation came for a 5 day walk around the perimeter of Thanet, for breakthrough.
We are also affiliated with Thanet PrayerNet; a local prayer network which has hosted conferences, prayer days, a bi-monthly prayer diary for the Thanet area; and organised and run a local joint “Thanet Church Together” meeting on a yearly basis (open to all the churches in Thanet).
